Between the cries and sobs of Romeo, came a knock on the door.
Who would come here at this time? If it is any person of Verona, I must hide Romeo.
'Let me come in, and you shall know my errand.
I come from Lady Juliet.'
came from the door. Ah! It is the good nurse of the Capulet household. I let the lady in. She brings news from Juliet. Alas, Juliet is also drunk in her own tears, wept for both Tybalt and Romeo. Cries and calls of loss comes from her throat and heart. How I pity the girl... Losing her cousin and now her husband, she must be in pain and distress.
DEAR LORD!! Romeo, free the dagger within your hand! Juliet does not need more tears to be spilt from her eyes by your rash decision of death! Are you a man? Are you a beast? Rid yourself of those womanish tears and wild fury; be happy and content instead! You still have your Juliet and no more revengeful Tybalt to pursue you! The law decreed death as punishment, but you are spared with banishment, you should be thankful!
Sigh... How dark and weary is today... Romeo, you'll ascend Juliet's chamber to comfort her, to woo her, to spend the first and last night as husband and wife. Then, tomorrow, you'll depart for Mantua to stay temporarily until we find a time to beg forgiveness of the Prince and to bring you back for reconciliation of family, friends and Juliet. Now go, good Romeo...

Twist of Fate
Bearing heavy news of utmost sadness, I beckoned Romeo towards me. Words escaped from my lips:
'A gentler judgment vanished° from his lips—
Not body’s death, but body’s banishment.'
'Here from Verona art thou banishèd.
Be patient, for the world is broad and wide.'
It was torment to see the horror and pain on the boy's face. The thought of being exiled out of this city of beauty was pure grief for the one who lived within its city walls for as long as one can remember. For Romeo, death was better or even preferable than leaving his home and his true love.
My words of comfort were useless against his rants of hurt and exile and banishment. Making him realize that the noble Prince was being merciful and sparing his life was hopeless. But it is understandable, leaving your home, family, love behind is a truly a difficult decision. Pity on the the poor boy....
This unexpected twist of events is enough to push away all thoughts of reuniting the two families and regaining peace for Verona. For better or worse, at least the word of the newlyweds hasn't spread yet, but no one knows how things will end...

Unfortunateness
I never dreamed that the marriage bond of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet would have results that would surface this quickly, especially the unfortunate event that happened just three hours after the newlyweds departed my sanctuary.
I was absorbed in my own peaceful mind when news of yet another fight broke out Verona streets. Montagues and Capulets clanged their swords and knives at each other; spilt blood and suffered losses. Witty Mercutio and fierce Tybalt are now in the hands of Heaven, may their souls rest peacefully. Blood spilt blood; Mercutio fell under the sword of Tybalt and Romeo, in an attempt to avenge his fellow Montague slays his cousin. Now, laying at their battleground is both Tybalt and Mercutio slain. Oh... What a dreadful loss is this.
Young Romeo, tainted by the blood of Tybalt, his wife's dear cousin, the beloved Prince of Cats, flees to my humble cell. It is the most adverse event that could happen to the young couple I wedded just mere hours ago. Ah... Such irony and contradiction. Is this what happens to a desperate attempt of peace?
A Holy Act
The time comes for the marriage between Juliet and her Romeo. The excitment and nervousness builds within me, yet my actions to attempt to calm myself seems to be insignificant to how young Romeo is feeling at the moment.
'That one short minute gives me in her sight.
Do thou but close our hands with holy words,
Then love–devouring death do what he dare—
It is enough I may but call her mine'
He says. His fierce joy of being a young groom is hardly compared to my feelings at the moment. However, his love towards his fair soon-to-be wife can be his doom. There is this uncertainty and caution I still reserve for the reckless passion. But that and the tension coming from Romeo were quickly gone in the moment Juliet came into the cell of mine.
'Here comes the lady. O, so light a foot
Will ne’er wear out the everlasting flint.
A lover may bestride the gossamers
That idle in the wanton summer air,
And yet not fall; so light is vanity.'
She was quick yet graceful. She was nervous yet composed. One simple phrase lead me to decide to make haste with the marriage.
'But my true love is grown to such excess
I cannot sum up sum of half my wealth.'
I lead the pair up to the alter and stood them before the Holy One, may He be the witness of this happy occasion of marriage. I spoke the blessing and they spoke their vows to each other. Within minutes, there before me, stood Romeo and Juliet, from two as they enter but as one they exit. Their eyes spoke for them, the flames of love and devotion to one another burned within them. At that special moment, I am overjoyed to have witnessed this ceremony.

Complications & Conflicts
Holy Saint Francis!
Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet! Born to be sworn enemies, yet fate has brought them together as lovers.
Both the two families are proud and respected folk, but their feud against each other has constantly disrupted the peace of Verona. The Prince warned and cautioned if one more brawl happens in the streets, both families will be punished with their lives.
Dear Lord! I hope I made the right choice to wed the youngsters.
What if this is a mistake that further deepens the rivalry? What if they are too young and reckless? What if they aren't ready for marriage and commitment and this is just a rash action of passion? Yet, I do hope that in the light of the marriage and love of their children, both Lord and Lady Montague, Lord and Lady Capulet will cease their feud for the betterment and consideration of our Verona and their beloved.
Hopefully, this is how it's meant to be and I'm honored to be a part of what is about to bring peace and love back to my beautiful Verona. May the Lord bless and shine upon Romeo and Juliet and their ' star-crossed' love.

The Irony of Love and Hate
I was still on my morning walk and flower picking when an excited shout breaks the early morning silence.
Ah! If it isn't the young Romeo. The boy races through the trees and bushes with an expression of unspeakable delight... I wonder what happened to cause his happiness and excitment this early.
The closer he came, I begin to wonder if he ever slept the previous night. It was still yesterday that he was moaning and grieving for the unrequited love of the fair Rosaline, whom he deeply desires, yet isn't loved or admired back. Poor boy...
Listening to him describe his late-night adventure, it seems as if he has forgotten about his woes and even about Rosaline.
'I have forgot that name and that name’s woe.'
Good for the boy, but he claims he has at last found his true love. Dear Lord! How can he so easily swayed in the heart? Truly, his love wavers too much. Young men are never pleased enough, especially when a new pretty face comes along. Sigh....
'Young men’s love then lies
Not truly in their hearts, but in their eyes'
And alas, his love is his enemy. It is Juliet, the daughter of his family's enemy. What irony is this? To further the conflict that is 'bred of an airy word', or to peace the hatred with love?
Romeo asks me to wed the young couple as soon as possible. With hope to dissolve the long-standing feud between the proud Montagues and respected Capulets, I agreed to wed the young pair.

Verona's Morning Beauty
Sigh..
The morning air of my beautiful Verona is simply wonderful. Standing there, picking flowers with extraordinary powers of poison and medicine, breathing in the fresh, sweet scent of Nature is very enjoyable.
The dark-gray sky streaked with lines of golden light, the first rays of the rising sun slowly basks Verona with her warmth and light. It is truly an amazing and heart-warming scene....
